Apple AirPort Extreme

I am still in the process of setting up my first Philps Hue beginner kit. Our home WiFi network is provided by Apple AirPort Extreme. It is working well for app control and Siri within the home. However, I am unable to set up “Out of home control”. I note that only two LEDs on the bridge are lit. The one on the opposite side from power, which evidently indicates connection to the internet is off. If I understand correctly, while things are working well on our home WiFi, the bridge is not actually on the internet, limiting our features. Is anyone using Apple AirPort Extreme with the bridge successfully? If so, I wonder if I may ask your assistance?

I am still currently using an AirPort Extreme, but I had to route it through the cable modem/router combo that our cable provider gives, so I just figured mine was not working as well due to that.
I also use Alexa instead of Siri to control things, and other that forgetting what the room names are for each light occasionally, I have had moderate luck. When it is working, it does a good job, but when it is not, I have to go back into the Alexa app and reprogram the rooms. I thought it may have been due to power outages, but who knows.
Sorry I can’t help, but you helped me.
Thanks!
