Are multiple hubs required to provide connectivity in large home

I have a long 1-story home (200+ feet from end to end) that I am trying to setup my philips hue lights in. I currently have everything up and running perfectly in my office, which is on one of the far ends of my home. I setup a new bulb in my office and then tried relocating it to another part of my house considerably further away from my office and the bulb isn’t recognized.

Do I need multiple hubs strategically placed throughout my home to provide hue connectivity throughout my home? Please advise. Thanks!

The ZigBee wireless network is a “mesh” system, meaning every node in the network relays messages to other nodes, acting as a repeater or extender. So your best option is probably to just spread lights along the length of your home so that no bulb is more than about 10 meters (3ft) away from the next one.
