Dimmer switch dynamically control color temperature

I understand the Hue dimmer switch can be configured to switch between a series of scenes via multiple presses of the “on” key. But is there a way to illuminate a certain scene (bulb color temperature) based on the time of day instead – without the necessity of multiple presses to switch to the required setting? For instance, I would like my White Ambiance bulb to illuminate at 5000K during the day, or 2700K at night, with one press of the hue dimmer switch.

I can set multiple timers in the app to control day/night scenes but that turns the bulbs on as well, which is not what I want. The Hue motion sensor has a time-based feature which does something very similar to what I want, but I just want to be able to switch bulbs on/off via the app or dimmer switch in rooms that aren’t motion sensor controlled.
