I have 2 hue motion senor.

1 to control hue light in my room – work great

1 to control a eve switch (configure as a light) but here is the problem

I have setup an action in Apple Home App to turn on the switch when a motion os detected, but the option to turn off after a certain time, is Dimmed. It say to update the software on my home hub. Everything is up to date . I dont thing it is possible or even wise to create an action when no motion is detected 🙂

I did create a “No motion detected” automation but I am still looking for the reason of this up-to-date message.

My HomeKit hub was my AppleTV.

I switch it to my iPad and everything started to work.

I then switch back to my AppleTV, and even if it took some time to reactivate, everything worked after.

In both case, I did not leave the other Hub as a secondary hub. I only kept one.

It also solve a problem I had with accessing HomeKit from outside the Apartment which was woking only some of the time.

use this at the “Set up your home hub”
