‘No response’ when turned off manually

When I turn the lights off manually via wall switch they then show as ‘no response’ on Apple HomeKit

I have tried googling the answer and only result I can find says not to turn them off via wall switch. Surely this can’t be just a built in flaw with the system that everyone has come to accept? I’d have thought they would at least store some power to turn back on again!?

When the electricity is cut from the bulb it ceases to work. That’s just how it is.
