Advice Needed for beginner please

I’m looking at purchasing a Philips Smart Bulb system, we’d like the colour version.
Currently we have
– Logitech Harmony
– Alexa
Which are controlling our TV, media server, multi room Sonos and Apple TV.
For the Philips bulbs I am a bit unsure what I need to get up and running. If we have the harmony hub do we need to buy a Philips starter kit that has a bridge? Or does the harmony hub replace the need for this?
If we do need a starter kit with the bridge, once we have this, can we then just buy bulbs for the rest of the house? Will different bulb fixings (gu10, b22 etc.) all work with the same bridge in the initial starter pack?
Is there anything else we should be aware of?
Thanks in advance for anyone who can assist with this.

Hi Gamnaking,

your best option is to buy Starter packages when they go on sale as most time you can get a starter pack with 3 or 4 colour bulbs in it for cheaper then the cost of 4 bulbs individually

what i do is then post the extra bridge in the local buy and sell to get some cash to go towards the next starter kit.  I have done this a good few times now as I’m currently running 25 bulbs, 2 light strips, 8 dimmers and 1 motion sensor
