How to link multiple bridges to one hue account

I have 3 bridges, one at my own house, one at my friends house and one at my parents house.

I was logged in to My Hue with only one account and I could control all 3 bridges from anywhere around the world without having to be on the same wifi network or having to logout from one account and login with another account to be able to control another bridge.
All I had to do was to go to Settings > Hue Bridges > and select the bridge I wanted to control. This has always worked perfectly, I never had to change account, but since I got a new phone and had to reinstall the app on my new phone I haven’t been able to control my own and my parents’ bridge from outside their home network, only my friends bridge.

Customer services says it’s not possible to link multiple bridges to one account and control multiple bridges from outside the home network with one account, but that just isn’t true because I have always been able to up until now.

Can someone tell me how I can fix this?
