meethue.com/api/nupnp not working but can connect to hue ip adress

In the process of setting up my new hue starterkit with two white lights. The bridge connects to the lights just fine and they work just fine. The problem is when I try to connect my google home to the hue so I can turn them on and off with voice commands from my google home. In this process I have used the google home app on my andriod phone to create an account and connect my bridge to this account. This is where I get my problem, the app, and the website https://account.meethue.com/link-bridge, show there is no bridge to connect to. Upon researching why i come across the upnp website, https://www.meethue.com/api/nupnp, and find just two brackets. I However to to the ip listed in the app for the bridge and can connect to the page hosted at the ip. I have tried two different routers, one that I reset multiple times to turn off and back on upnp, but nothing has changed. If anyone has any information on what I can do to resolve this. That would be great.

I have not factory reset my bridge but can if needed.
