Motion sensor delay?

Hello, after switching my hue lights off I have noticed that sometimes there seems to be a delay in the motion sensor firing i.e. the light remains off despite me moving in front of the sensor. Has anybody else noticed a similar thing? It almost seems like the sensor waits for a period of inactivity before triggering. Any thoughts appreciated! Ashley

I’m having the same problem. Even changed the location of my Hue hub connecting it directly to my router. when I first installed it emotion sensor would turn on my lights and less than a second now there’s a two or three second delay which is everything when you’re walking through a hallway or up stairs. I have an extra hub that I thought about replacing but I don’t want to have to reprogram everything considering I have over 35 lights in my house. Next option is to invest in a different brand if I can’t get this working. I have a kid that has usher syndrome and one of the side effects is he has no nighttime vision so we need this for him to see.

I have the same problem. Do you guys have a solution already?

I also have the same issue.  I had a hall and landing as two separate rooms, I put all the lights together into one room but that didn’t do anything. I tried swapping the sensor with another one and that didn’t do anything.  From what I can see it is about 90 seconds before it reactivates and will detect movement.

It is very inconvenient as the sensor is in a hall, and if someone walks back into the hall within that period it remains in darkness.  I would really like to find a solution to this problem.

I have had contact with Philips hue support. This is a known bug in newest Bridge update. They are working on a fix

Ah well done.  I felt sure that it hadn’t been the case since I first fitted them, but I couldn’t be absolutely certain.  Thanks for the update.
