Philips hue bridge not found

Does it not support public IP anymore? I queried the API URL and got the bad result []. My bridge and my iPhone are in the same public subnet.

As soon as I swapped my old access point with a new wireless router, the issue got fixed. I guess neither Google nor Philips’ likes public IPs at all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It has happened to me a couple of times.  Frustrated and I went through all the solutions as in the manual…it finally hit me.  I went to my internet provider, in this case Spectrum, went to troubleshoot my modem and hit slow connection, anything to refresh and reset my modem.  It takes a few minutes.  It did the trick.  The only thing is you will have to reset the lights and their assignments to the rooms.  If not sure, call the internet provider and ask them to refresh your modem. It’s fairly easy.

So I have a similar problem, in that all my smartphones (4) connect to the bridge no problem when bridge is plugged directly into modem, when I move the bridge and plug into a switch which is connected to the modem only 2 smartphones (Iphone Xs) connect to bridge and the older iphones (7 and 6s) cannot detect the bridge?

All iphones running same software version – makes me think there must be some sort of app conflict?

Same here.  Tried all day.  It actually worked the firs time but I didn’t press the button in time and it went back to saying bridge not found.  I tried rebooting the router, reseting the bridge, but nothing works.  Interestingly if my account online sees the bridge (logged in through laptop), but you can’t do anything with it there.  The iPhone app just refuses to connect to it.  MOST FRUSTRATING!
