I had to deregister my Echo Plus and when it was re-registered, all my bulbs didn’t work and below each light it said unresponsive.  Deleted one light and tried to add again (alexa – discover) and it didn’t work. Help!!!

Great news – I figured it out.  Go to Alex App.

  1.  Remove all lights (devices) that need to be reset. (click on settings cog and then the trash can in right hand top corner.
  2. Add a Device.  Click Light.
  3. Pick Philips Hue.
  4. Click discover.  You will get it cannot be discovered.
  5. there will be two options.  1) Try to discover again and 2) get help in connecting.
  6. Click Get help in Connecting.
  7. Scroll down through help text for BLUE link to “Reset Philip Hue Bulbs”.  click on this.
  8. Enter serial number (6 digits).  Replace light in socket and turn on.  Click continue.
  9. Click Light is on. Alex will start discovering – and will FIND IT!

YAY!!
